Aftercare

The basics

1
Day 1:

Remove your bandage after 2–4 hours and wash gently with lukewarm water and fragrance-free antibacterial soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel — do not rub.

2
Day 2-3:

Continue washing twice daily. Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free, tattoo-specific ointment. Your tattoo may appear slightly cloudy or dry — that’s normal.

3
The Following Days:

Keep moisturizing with a light, breathable lotion. Avoid swimming, saunas, or direct sunlight for at least two weeks. Let any scabbing fall off naturally.

Help

Have questions?

Most tattoos take 2–4 weeks to fully heal on the surface, though deeper layers can continue healing for several months.

Use fragrance-free lotion or ointments designed specifically for tattoos. Avoid petroleum jelly and heavy creams.

Wait at least two weeks — and until all scabs have fallen off naturally — before swimming or soaking.

Yes! Peeling and light flaking are part of the natural healing process. Just resist the urge to scratch.

Not until it’s completely healed. Shaving too early can remove color or cause infection.
